The Yunnan Air Force
Lennart Andersson
Continuing
the series of e-books on Chinese
aviation history ...
The
Yunnan Province in the southwest
of China had connection to the
outside world through a railway to
Hanoi in French Indochina. This,
and the province’s geographical
location, placed it firmly in a
French sphere of influence that
also included aviation matters.
The local air force operated
Breguet, Caudron and Potez types,
but also American Arrow,
Consolidated, Stinson and Ryan
aircraft.
